I have seen many website suggest to use Vista battery save for saving battery life time and claim that can extend laptop’s battery life from thirty to forty minutes by running this tiny application in background process. Is this application is a savior of your laptop battery life time?

l believed this program can save some battery life but not much as 30-40 min. This program concern about Aero theme mostly. It has a feature that switch off Aero theme effect that have been considered to save laptop battery life time.

Aero theme use 3D visual effect that draw power from graphics which normal using is not use 3D effect often except “transparent glass” effect on title bar. You can shut this feature on your Vista laptop by click on -> Vista start button -> Control panel -> System , their will a windows pop-up click on Advanced system settings on the left side, select “Visual Effects” tab, uncheck Enable transparent glass and click Ok button. That’s all of most energy saving on Vista’s Aero theme!
