The BL100 has only one 16 GB SSD and White color body. BL300, BL310 and BL350 have hybrid storage system, 16 GB SSD and 160 GB Hard drive and 3 different colors, red, white and blue. BL310 and BL350 has additional Microsoft Office installed and only BL350 has 6 cells battery, nice step upgrading from NEC Lavie Light Series.

NEC Lavie Light netbooks is one of very lite laptops that weight only 2.4 pound and maximum weight at 2.9 pound and slim as 1.4 inch. Screen size is not too small that cause unreadable texts on the screen- 10.1 inch is prefer for netbooks. Intel N270 is excellent CPU in term of power usage but newer N280 is better, N270 use 2.5 Watt and N280 use only 2.0 Watt which has some effect on battery life time. Compare with other netbooks, the Lavie Light Series is fairly expensive. The BL100 has 16 GB SSD which price should not as high as $520. However, when Lavie Light sell in world wide, the price will surely drop down.
